The Heart of the Lakes Triathlon committee asks for understanding and patience on race day in the Annandale area.
With an event this large, there will be some inconveniences due to road closures, no parking areas and traffic congestion.
Listed below are the road closures, which will be in effect from 8:30 a.m. until noon.
Only local, non-through traffic will be allowed.
– County Road 5 north of State Highway. 55 to County Road 39.
– State Highway 24 from Park Street to County Road 6.
– Oak Street north of Park Street.
– Park Street from Oak to Excelsior.
There will also be no parking signs placed on streets along the route. These will be enforced from the time of posting Saturday evening until noon on Sunday, July 15.
