Paul E. Petersen

Mr. Paul E. Petersen, 43, Annandale, died Saturday, July 22, 2000 at Health One Buffalo Hospital following an electrical accident.
Funeral services were held 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 25, 2000 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Annandale with the Rev. Scott Jakel officiating.
He is survived by his wife, Catherine of Annandale, son, Sean Cheslock of Osseo, daughter, Amy Cheslock of Annandale, father, V.S. “Pete” Petersen and his wife, Stella of Circle Pines, mother, Else Petersen of Longmont, Colo., brothers, Peter and his wife, Mary of Atlantic Beach, Fla., Nels of Circle Pines, Leif and his wife, LeAnn of Mason City, Iowa, mother-in-law, Delores Maki of Plymouth, nieces, nephews, sisters and brothers-in-law.
Paul Erik Petersen was born on September 5, 1956 in Minneapolis to V.S. “Pete” and Else (Baadsgaard) Petersen. He graduated from St. Cloud State University in 1988 and later received his master’s degree from St. Thomas University, St. Paul. He has lived in Annandale since 1988 where he has taught at the Annandale Middle School. He married Catherine (Maki) Cheslock on March 25, 1996 in Las Vegas. He was a member of the Minnesota Education Association, taught down hill skiing, and enjoyed playing volleyball.
Pallbearers: Sean Cheslock, Peter, Nels, and Leif Petersen, Ed Schmitz and Jerry Crowe.
Music: Pat and Morris Balder.
A memorial fund is set up to benefit the Special Education Program at the Annandale Middle School.
