■ A child passenger safety seat clinic was planned at Ryan Chrysler in Buffalo Tuesday, Sept. 11, from 4 to 7 p.m. off of Highway 55 in Buffalo. The event is sponsored by Wright County Public Health and it is child passenger safety week from Sept. 16-22. Trained child passenger safety technicians will assist with correct installation, correct fit for a child or infant, check for defects and recalls and answer any question about child car seats. ■ The Community Health Foundation of Wright County is conducting its third annual Steps for Hospice Family Fun Walk-Run Sunday, Sept. 23, at Sturges Park in downtown Buffalo. Registration begins at noon and the kick-off is at 1 p.m. There will be a 5K timed run, a 5K walk around Buffalo Lake, or because of many requests, a Coffee Stroll has been added to this year’s event.
