Flemming earns accounting degree
Zachary Flemming of Clearwater graduated from the University of Northwestern-St. Paul on Dec. 18, 2015, with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting.
Cotter, Johnson named to dean’s list
Megan Cotter and Trevor Johnson, both of Clearwater, were named to the dean’s list at the University of Northwestern-St. Paul, following the fall 2015 semester. Cotter is majoring in psychology, and Johnson is studying criminal justice.
Ramstad earns teaching degree
Dylan Ramstad of Annandale earned a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls following the fall 2015 semester.
Area students honored at Bemidji
Several area students were named to the dean’s list at Bemidji State University following the fall 2015 semester. To qualify, students must be enrolled for at least 12 credits and earn a 3.5 grade point average during the semester.
Students from South Haven included Tabitha Reinert and Olivia Straley.
Students from Clearwater included Alexander Johannes, Taylor Lemke and Penny Leuthard.
Two on dean’s list at St. Catherine
Madison Kasper, a 2015 graduate of Annandale High School, and Ashley Wadman, a 2014 AHS graduate, were named to the dean’s list at St. Catherine University in St. Paul following the fall 2015 semester. To qualify for the list, a student must earn a grade point average of 3.667 or higher.
Kasper, a first-year nursing student, is the daughter of Kelly and Wayne Kasper. Wadman, a sophomore studying exercise and sports science, is the daughter of Larissa and Peter Wadman.
Four on dean’s list at St. John’s
Theodore Erickson, Matthew Miller and Andrew Russek of Annandale, along with Brady Kalla of Clearwater, were named to the dean’s list at St. John’s University following the fall 2015 semester. To qualify for the list, students must post a grade point average of 3.8 or better while completing at least 12 credits.
Erickson, son of Judd and Melissa Erickson, is a junior nutrition major. Miller, son of Bradley and Lisa Miller, is a sophomore global business leadership major. Russek, son of Mary and Dan Russek, is a sophomore nursing major. Kalla, son of Kenneth and Lila Kalla of Clearwater, is a sophomore biology major.
