Sealed bids will be received until 5:00 p.m. Friday, November 29, 2024, at P.O. Box 520, Annandale, MN 55302 for material and work to be done on township roads for 2025.

Equipment rental by the hour.
Grading and snowplowing township roads by a motor grader up to 130-horsepower.
Plowing snow with a truck.
Cat/D8 or equivalent with dozer or scraper. – Please state size of scraper.
Cad. D6 or equivalent with dozer or scraper. – Please state size of scraper.
Bobcat work; backhoe work; 4 wheel drive loader – please state size.
Sanding icy roads – Please state amount for sand and truck.
Monthly minimum flat rate fee – November – April -if monthly plowing and maintenance work does not exceed minimum set the balance will be paid as a flat rate to meet the minimum flat rate fee.
Material:
Class 5 crushed gravel – Please state price per yard spread.
Pit run gravel – Please state price per yard spread.
Fill for washouts – Please state price per yard spread.
Chainsaw work, brush cutting and removal – Price per hour.
Bidders must show proof of insurance not less than $500,000.
Southside Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
Bids will be opened December 3, 2024 7:00 p.m.

Notice of Public Hearings on Small Cities Development Program (SCDP)
Infrastructure Improvement 2025 Application and 2021 Project Update
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of South Haven, will hold a public hearing on December 3, 2024 at 6:00 pm at South Haven City Hall to discuss a 2025 SCDP grant application that will be submitted to the Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) for the City of South Haven. The public hearing is intended to provide citizens to learn more about the proposed project, including the costs associated with the activities described above as well as solicit input on community development and housing needs in the community that might be addressed through the SCDP program. Pursuant to the National Historic Preservation Act, comments on the identification and treatment of historic properties are welcome. In addition, service area, timeline, and project area will be discussed. The City Council of the City of South Haven will also hold a public hearing to discuss the project progress and provide an opportunity for comments for the 2021 SCDP Infrastructure Grant. All persons who may have an interest in the program, projects, and grant applications are encouraged to attend the public hearings. Information and records regarding the application and project progress update will be available within City Hall during regular office hours.
