Notice of Treatment
Lake Augusta Property Owners:
The Lake Augusta Association (LAA) plans to chemically treat Eurasian Curly-Leaf Pondweed (CLP) and Eurasian Water Milfoil (EWM) in Lake Augusta in 2026. Approximate date of treatment: May 22 to October 31, 2026. Target Species: Curly-Leaf Pondweed and Eurasian Water Milfoil. Method of Control: EPA and MDA Approved Aquatic Herbicide to be applied by LimnoPro Aquatic Science.
The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources has granted to the LAA a waiver of the requirement that the LAA obtain the signatures of approval of owners of lakeshore property. Instead, the LAA will notify property owners of the treatment through alternate forms. This notice is one form that the LAA is using to notify property owners with regard to the treatment for this year, 2026. It will also be published on our LAA Facebook Group Page and the LAA Website: lakeaugustaassociation@org.com
If property owner does not want this treatment to occur in front of their property, they MUST Opt-Out by notifying the LAA immediately by Email at lakeaugustaassociation@gmail.com
