Regular Meeting of the School Board – April 27, 2026 at 7:00 pm
1. Jones called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm.
2. Pledge of Allegiance
3. Board members present: Katie Jones, Jenna Witherbee, Melissa Muehring-Paulson and Jennifer Mealey. Student Representatives: Jade Foss and Miles Hendrickson. Absent: Dillon Dougherty and Gena Jacobson.
4. Mealey moved to approve the agenda items. Muehring-Paulson seconded. Motion carried 4-0.

B. Muehring-Paulson moved to approve the Recognition of the Student Qualifier for State Competition. Mealey seconded. Motion carried 4-0. Congratulations to the following qualifier for State Speech! Sophia Berubee
C. Muehring-Paulson moved to approve and adopt the April Resolution Accepting Donations.Mealey seconded. Motion carried 4-0.
D. Consider approval and adoption of the resolution to terminate the contract(s) of a probationary teacher(s)

Mealey made a motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member
Witherbee and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mealey,
Muehring-Paulson, Witherbee, and Jones.
And the following voted against the same: None
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
E. Witherbee moved to approve three policies in the review cycle. Muehring-Paulson seconded. Motion carried 4-0.
10. Information Items
A. The AHS Academic Awards Night and AHS Scholarship Awards Night is on Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at 6:00 pm at the Annandale High School.
B. The next monthly meeting will be at the Annandale Elementary School on Monday, May 18, 2026 at 7:00 pm held in person in the media center.
11. Mealey made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 7:27 pm. Muehring-Paulson seconded. Motion carried 4-0.

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN: Notice is hereby given that the Corinna Township Planning Commission/Board of Adjustment will convene on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, beginning at 7:00 PM at Corinna Town Hall, 9801 Ireland Ave, Annandale to conduct the following public hearing(s):

(Originally noticed for April 2026 meeting but requested by applicant to be held to June 2026 meeting. The request has been significantly modified from the original request.) Requests related to the construction of an attached garage/bonus room and a screen porch. Approvals required include Variances to construct a 30’ x 32’ attached garage with bonus room/bedroom above approx. 36 feet from Clearwater Lake (min. 75 feet required) and a 12’ x 28’ screen porch approximately 29.5 feet from Clearwater Lake (min. 75 fct required). NOTICE OF HEARING ON PETITION FOR FORMAL ADJUDICATION OF INTESTACY, DETERMINATION OF HEIRSHIP, APPOINTMENT OF PERSONAL REPRESENTATIVE AND NOTICE TO CREDITORS
Notice is given that on June 16, 2026 at 9:00 am, a Zoom hearing will be held remotely in this Court at 3700 Braddock Avenue, Buffalo, Minnesota, for the adjudication of intestacy and determination of heirship of the Decedent, and for the appointment of Wayne C. Lahti, as Personal Representative of the Estate of the Decedent in an unsupervised administration. Any objections to the petition must be filed with the Court prior to or raised at the hearing. If proper and if no objections are filed or raised, the Personal Representative will be appointed with full power to administer the Estate, including the power to collect all assets, to pay all legal debts, claims, taxes and expenses, to sell real and personal property, and to do all necessary acts for the Estate.
