Helping to deal with trauma From: John Schaefers, Navy veteran, Annandale Psychological trauma is an unfortunate condition of our species. Whether the trauma is the result of war, abuse, addiction, a tragic accident or a nearly unlimited plethora of possibilities, the results are the same on the human mind. Our mission is to provide a visual stimulus to relax the mind and calm the soul. Our organization has created a photo book that contains numerous spectacular wildlife photos, and it is our strong belief that our photo book, when implemented in collaboration with psychiatric care, can be an excellent aid in providing relief to those who are suffering from anxiety, depression post-traumatic stress disorder. A negative stigma is still associated with those who suffer from these psychological disorders. Though there have been many advancements in understanding causes providing diagnoses treatments for these disorders, it is often difficult for those who are suffering to find these resources. The purpose of this letter is to ask for your help; we need you to help us educate the community, help us remove the stigma associated with these psychological disorders, help us to provide simple affordable resources to both the general population to those who are suffering. It is crucial for us as a society to provide assistance to those who are in need. Our goal of providing an affordable visual stimulus to provide in our amazing photo book is achievable. Please view my website www.wildside.photos to see a preview of our photo book. It is imperative to reach the largest audience possible so we can provide the maximum amount of help to all those who are in need.
