On Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2021, 22-year-old Aleksa Zandstra became the new owner of the Annandale Subway. She purchased the popular and successful 26-year-old Annandale restaurant from Deb Erhard, who along with husband John, started building the restaurant in November 1994 and opened in May 1995. In 2006, Erhard opened the Subway in Maple Lake.
