Bone marrow match will help German woman

Annandale’s Jacob Schnabel, known locally as Spilled Grain Brewery’s brewmaster and co-owner, recently donated bone marrow to a woman in Germany with cancer. Schnabel matched positively with the woman and donated the bone marrow Tuesday, April 26, at Memorial Blood Center in St. Paul. His stem cells were flown to Germany that evening.
