The Sports Fitness Industry Association 2022 Report indicates that the sport of pickleball is one of the fastest-growing sports in the U.S., as participants reach 8.9 million. In addition, participation doubled in 2022, increasing by 85.7% year-over-year and by an astonishing 158.6% over three years. Pickleball participation in Annandale has been growing too.
