Karen L. Stainbrook

Karen Lee Stainbrook, 75, Annandale, unexpectedly passed away on Sunday, June 29, 2014, in Buffalo.

A memorial service was held on Thursday, July 3. The family asks that memorials be made to the Annandale Food Shelf. Please note as a memorial for Karen Brown.

She is survived by her children, Jerry (Rita) Brown of Putnam, Conn.; Debra (Alan) Suchy of Dassel, Douglas (Sharrie) Brown of Annandale, Teddy (Mary) Brown of Howard Lake, Danny (Dawn) Brown of Annandale, Beth Major (Rick Deinken) of Olivia and Scott (Melissa) Brown of Nolanville, Texas.; 24 grandchildren, many great- grandchildren and her special friend, Leo; also sisters, MaryAnn and Becky.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin; her parents; sister, Carol; son-in-law, Gary Major and a great-grand son.

Karen Lee Stainbrook, was born on July 9, 1938, in Algona, Iowa. Karen grew up in the Algona and Wells area. She attended school and achieved her GED later in life. 

Karen Lee Stainbrook and Marvin LeRoy Brown were joined in marriage on Oct. 29, 1955.

Karen enjoyed sewing, crocheting, playing bingo, karaoke, and spending time with her family and Leo. She also enjoyed traveling, especially cruises.
