James ‘Jim’ H. Logeais

James “Jim” H. Logeais, age 82, of Annandale died Tuesday, May 24, 2022, at the Memory Cottages of Annandale Care Center. A private Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Annandale with Fr. Victor Valencia as Celebrant. Burial followed at Riverside Cemetery, French Lake. James Harrison Logeais was born Sept. 7, 1939, in St. Cloud to Canute and Lillian (Dircks) Logeais. Jim grew up in Annandale and graduated in 1957 as the class valedictorian. He honorably served his country in the Army Reserves for six years. On Oct. 28, 1967, Jim was united in marriage to Renee Jost at St. Timothy Catholic Church in Maple Lake. The couple lived and raised their family in Annandale. Jim owned and operated Logeais Oil for 38 years, alongside his brother, Ozzie, a company they purchased from their parents. He was a lifetime member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church where he served in various roles, the Annandale Lions, as well as the Knights of Columbus. Jim enjoyed woodworking and spending time on the water. He loved his church and his family. Jim is survived by his wife of 54 years, Renee of Annandale; children, Jennifer (Chad) Filek of Maple Lake, Wade (Candace) of Roseville, Aaron (Lori) of Indianapolis, Sadie (Tony) Valdez of Indianapolis, and Mark (Emmy) of Annandale; 12 adoring grandchildren; sister, Carol Ann (Jim) Goelz of Maple Lake; and nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother and sister-in-law, Ozzie and Mary Jo Logeais. Mike Logeais, Steve Logeais, Greg Logeais, Rodney Christensen, Chad Gunderson, and Nick Gunderson served as casket bearers. Connie Nelson, Kassy and Stephanie Filek and Bridget Logeais provided music for the service. Arrangements entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care Burial and Cremation Services of Annandale.
