
Janet Triplett 1939-2022 – Janet Lucille Triplett of Annandale passed away on Friday, July 29, at the age of 82. Family and friends are invited to attend a service at St. John’s Lutheran Church of Annandale on Friday, Aug. 12 at 11 a.m. Visitation with the family will begin at 10 a.m. Lunch will follow the service. Janet was born in Omaha, Nebraska and grew up in Washington state. She was united in marriage to Glenn Triplett on Dec. 13, 1958 at Evangelical Free Church in Annandale. Janet worked in accounts receivables at General Mills until retiring in 2001. Janet is preceded in death by her parents, Oscar Peterson and Marie Pfeifer; son, Kevin Triplett; daughter, Tanya Triplett; grandsons, Jeremy Triplett and Dustin Triplett. Janet is survived by her husband of 63 years, Glenn Triplett of Annandale; sons, Gregg (Candy) Triplett of Annandale and Shane (Kristen) Triplett of Clearwater; grandchildren, Justin Triplett, Carter Triplett, Maddie Triplett, Lindsey Madla, Corey Hanson, Derrick Hanson, Heidi Fitzgerald; many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Janet and Glenn enjoyed many things after retiring. One thing that was their favorite was traveling 48 states on their motorcycle and then enjoying many winters as snowbirds in the Gulf Shores of Alabama. Janet also enjoyed many other activities. One that we all know she loved was going to play the slot machines with Glenn. Janet enjoyed sewing, knitting and crocheting blankets for her grandchildren and many others. Janet was a pillar for her family and friends. She will always be remembered for her need to help others. Her love of being a wife, mother and grandmother will always remain as part of her family’s memories. Janet will be missed beyond measure. The family would like to thank St. Cloud Hospital for the care and compassion they showed our loved one in her final days.
