Barbara J. Wiegand, age 82, of South Haven, died Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2023, surrounded by her family. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 6, at St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Annandale with Father Kevin Magner as Celebrant. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Annandale. Funeral services will be live-streamed on the funeral home website. Memorials are preferred to the Coborn Cancer Center of St. Cloud. Barbara Jean Knutson was born March 28, 1940, in Minneapolis, Minnesota to the late Donald and Harriet (Thomas) Knutson. She was a graduate of Annandale High School and married Wesley Wiegand on Nov. 5, 1960, at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Annandale. Barbara and Wesley owned and operated Sears Catalog Store in Annandale. She enjoyed puzzles, creative craft activities, antiquing, having breakfast and lunch with the ladies, and spending time with her grandkids. Barbara is survived by her daughters, Wendy (John) Douglas of South Haven, and Nancy Wiegand (Terry Rathwell) of Wawanesa, Manitoba; grandchildren, Emma and Audrey Douglas, Shonah, Brina, and Wesley Rathwell; siblings, James (Janet) Knutson of Brooklyn, Michigan, Jack (Jo Ann) Ledwein of Annandale, James (Jean) Ledwein of Annandale, William Ledwein of Cokato, and Kathleen (Robert) Smith, of Litchfield. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley Wiegand; parents, Donald Knutson and Harriet Ledwein; step-father, Frank Ledwein; siblings, Donald Knutson, Thomas Knutson, and Pat Kittok. The urn bearers will be John, Emma and Audrey Douglas, Terry, Shonah, Brina and Wesley Rathwell. St. Ignatius Music Ministry will provide the music for the service.
