Linda Kay Solberg, age 75, of Buffalo passed away on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at North Ridge Health and Rehab in New Hope. She was born on November 17, 1947 in Buffalo the daughter of Walter and Mabel (Ryti) Johnson. Linda graduated from Annandale High School on May 28, 1965. On April 19, 1968, Linda Kay Johnson and Myron W. Solberg were joined in holy marriage at The United Methodist Church in Annandale. Linda was a kind, fun loving and energetic person, an avid reader and collected cardinals. The apple of her eye was her son Corey! She enjoyed getting together with her family, nieces, nephews and her friends. She was always ready for a party. She was a faithful member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Montrose. Linda was strong in her faith. She taught Sunday School, belonged to Ladies Aid and worked funerals. Linda and her son Corey cleaned the church also. She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years: Myron W. Solberg; son: Corey D. Solberg of Willmar; a brother: Donald Johnson of Osseo; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and by her sister Beverly. Funeral services for Linda Solberg will be held on Saturday, June 10th, at 1 p.m. at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Montrose. Pastor James Grabitske will officiate. Interment will follow at St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 10, one hour prior to services at the church. Honorary casketbearer: Adell Seanor. Casketbearers will be Bryon Bonk, Fred Bonk, Steve Johnson, Mike Olson, Sue Schiro and Jean Solberg. The Peterson Chapel in Buffalo is serving the family.
