It’s with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jeffrey “Jeff” Klemz, age 59, of Clearwater. Jeff departed this world Monday, Aug. 28, 2023, surrounded by his loving family at St. Cloud Hospital. A celebration of life will be held at the Clearwater Legion on Saturday, Oct. 14, from 1 to 5 p.m. Friends and family are invited to attend and pay their respects. Born on Dec. 16, 1963 in Excelsior, Jeff was the son of Neil and Fern. He grew up in Annandale and later settled in Clearwater. Jeff had a successful career in transportation, owning and operating Priority One Freight. He loved to cook and try new restaurants, play guitar and spend time with his loved ones. Jeff was known for his compassion, kindness and sense of humor. Jeff is survived by his partner of 16 years Cindy, children Rachel and Chris (Alli), granddaughters Lily and Poppy, brother Ron (Lisa) and sisters Bev and Jackie. He was preceded in death by parents Neil and Fern. The family would like to express their gratitude for the support and condolences they have received during this difficult time. Jeff will be dearly missed but will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
