Lynn Hanson

Lynn Hanson age 62, of Annandale, formerly of Minneapolis died Monday, March 25, 2024.

Funeral services were held  Friday, March 29,  at Heartland Evangelical Free Church in Annandale with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial followed at Riverside Cemetery, French Lake.

Lynn Ann Hanson was born on May 31, 1961, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, to Edward and Ida (Raisanen) Hanson. She grew up in Minneapolis graduating from Minneapolis South High School in 1979. She furthered her education at St. Cloud State earning her master’s degree in Accounting. Lynn dedicated 27 years to the U.S. federal government working as a CPA, retiring in 2017.

Lynn was a woman of faith who found joy in traveling, baseball, and all sports. Her passion for music and dancing brought light to those around her, and she cherished the time spent “junkin around,” always finding treasures in unexpected places.

Lynn’s spirit of joy, love, and faith will forever be cherished by those who knew and loved her. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the melodies of her beloved music and the dance of eternal light.

Lynn is survived by her siblings, Charlene (John) Cannon of Grafton, Wisconsin, Byron Hanson of Minnetonka, Minnesota, Bruce (Terry) Hanson, Robin Hanson both of Annandale, and Kimberly (Gary) Larson of Chanhassen, Minnesota; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Edward and Ida Hanson.
