Cheryl was born on Nov. 8, 1947, to Cliff and Elouise (Wells) Juetten. She attended Maple Lake School through 10th grade and then attended Annandale High School graduating with the class of 1966. She worked at various different jobs including Wonder all’s in Buffalo and McDonald’s in Elk River. Her passion was the mission field, especially working in the orphanages of Guatemala and the Dominican Republic. It was in the Dominican Republic where she met and married her husband Appolinar (Paul) Infante. They were married on May 30, 1989, and renewed their vows on July 22, 2009, at Lake Ridge Care Center by Pastor Chuck Dake. Cheryl’s time at the orphanage was done in late 1989 so she came back to Minnesota to start the process of getting the necessary papers ready with immigration to get Paul here. When Paul finally arrived, they settled in Elk River until Paul’s death in 2011. Cheryl was diagnosed in 2000 as having a mental illness called Schizophrenia and with medication she was able to live a somewhat normal life until she started showing signs of having a difficult time with daily routines. In 2010, Paul suffered a major stroke and was transferred to Lake Ridge Care Center in Buffalo where he died in Feb. of 2011. Cheryl moved into Lake Ridge Assisted Living while Paul was there, then into Lake Ridge Care Center. Her memory loss was getting worse, so she moved into Cottagewood Memory Care in Buffalo.
