The Cardinal boys basketball team had two games last week and won them both. They defeated Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted 75-60 and Watertown-Mayer 55-46. HL-W-W came into the game with a record of 0-10 in the WCC-W and 4-16 overall. Watertown-Mayer came into the game 4-4 in the WCC-W and 14-6 overall. The Cardinals came into the week undefeated in the WCC-W 8-0 and 17-2 overall. Despite having the superior record, the Lakers and the Royals gave the Cardinals a good fight.
