The Cardinal Football team hosted the Dassel-Cokato Chargers Friday, Sept. 16, at Cardinal Stadium. It was a beautiful night and the bleachers were jammed with Cardinal and D-C fans. The Cardinals lost 28-14 to the Chargers, the No.1 ranked team in Class 3A. The Cardinals are now 1-2 overall and 1-1 in the East Central South District.
