On Sunday, August 16, the C.A.S.T. for Kids Fishing Event was held for children with special needs on Annandale’s Pleasant Lake. “For many of the kids at the event, this was their first time fishing and first time being in a boat,” said Adam Harvey, the event coordinator. “Every kid caught fish either from the pier or boat. “The feedback from the parents was great, the kids had a blast and all their smiles made it worth it.”
