On Saturday, Sept. 18, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. is the Nobel Shadduck Harvest Festival at Minnesota Pioneer Park. In addition to many other activities, the annual event has added a new attraction for the kids. Above, is Annandale’s Steve Leinonen and his wife, Helen. Steve creates small unique pine cars which he will be providing at a reduced cost for kids of all ages to decorate, race and take home. Leinonen made his first car with his son in 1987.
