Don Enger
Don Enger, 81 of Prior Lake, formerly of Bloomington passed away on Friday, Dec. 14, 2018.
A visitation was held from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 17, at Ballard-Sunder Funeral Home, Prior Lake. The Mass of Christian burial was held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2018 with a visitation 1-hour prior at St. Michael Catholic Church, Prior Lake. Father Tom Walker presided. Don was laid to rest at Fort Snelling National Cemetery following the funeral services at 2 p.m.

Donald is loved and missed by his wife, Marlys; children, Melissa Enger, Dan (Lori) Enger, Nancy (Todd) Cole; grandchildren, Connor, Evan, and Luke Bednarek, Jacob and Alexa Enger; siblings, Junith (Louie) Frieborg, Beverly Kissner, JoAnn (Curt) Pettis; sisters-in-law, Lillian Enger and Linda Enger; other relatives and friends.
Don was greeted in Heaven by his parents, Alfred and Alma, and brothers, Gerald and Marvin Enger.
On July 16, 1937, Don was born on the family farm in the Sioux Agency Township, Minnesota. Working on the farm taught Don the value of hard work. He farmed alongside his father until he was 22 years old. At that time, he joined the Air National Guard. Don’s unit was activated into full service in 1961 during the Berlin Crisis.
After his honorable discharge, Don met a young woman, Marlys, at a friend’s party. One year later, on Nov. 30, 1963, Don and Marlys exchanged wedding vows at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Renville, MN. This union was blessed with three children and 55 years of marriage. The couple lived in Bloomington for 42 years before moving to Prior Lake in May of 2006.
Don traveled throughout the United States. He especially enjoyed road trips with his family-the Black Hills for Sturgis, California on winter breaks, Pike’s Peak in Colorado, and visits to twelve presidential libraries. Don traveled far and wide to see his grandchildren. He was their biggest fan at dance competitions and football, baseball, and rugby games. In his free time, Don enjoyed hunting and fishing. He especially enjoyed fishing with his Uncle Johnnie, Dan, Jake, and Evan. Patience was learned!
For 37 years, Don managed the service department for Highland Marine in St. Paul. During the last three years of Don’s career, he owned Highland Marine Service. His easy going, conversational manner created many lasting relationships. Because of this, Don never truly retired. Fifteen years after retirement, Don still received calls asking for assistance. For the past fourteen years, Don and Marlys wintered in Arizona with many of their friends and family joining.
From his working days, Don had countless stories to share. For 33 years, he did service calls for boaters on Cedar Lake in Annandale-the Fourth of July was always an eventful time of year! Service was his motto. Don was selfless and helped anyone who needed a hand. His life was defined by his character, integrity, faith and family.

Carol Vicki (Kleveland) Gullings
Carol Vicki (Kleveland) Gullings, 71, of Annandale passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Dec. 17, 2018, in her Cedar Lake home, after a year long battle with lung cancer.
The visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 20, at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Kimball. A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Additional services will be held in Mayville, North Dakota.
Vicki is survived by her son, Hal (Dori) Kimball of Cokato; daughter, Candi (Troy) Davenport of Minnetonka; daughter, Alicia Thompson of Eden Priarie; granddaughter, Ella Jane Davenport; brother, Keith Kleveland of Huntsville, Texas; sister, Bonnie Nelson (Keith) of Kindred, North Dakota; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Velma and Burnham Klevelend; brother, Larry Klevelend; and husbands, Gary Kimball and Rodney Gullings.
Vicki was born on Dec. 16, 1947, to the late Burnham and Velma (Koering) Kleveland in Mayville. Vicki was a 1965 graduate of Mayville (North Dakota) High School. Vicki served her country in the Air Force, in Texas, for a year and was honorably discharged. Throughout her working career she was known for her work ethic, instilled by years of work on the family dairy farm, her integrity, and her sense of humor. Vicki found her calling working for the United States Postal Service. She began her career in Mayville in 1978 as a clerk. She was instrumental in establishing home mail delivery services in Mayville, where for nearly a decade, she served as the face of the Postal Service delivering mail to the residents of Mayville, six days a week. Vicki transferred into a Postal Clerk role in Kimball in 1987 where she remained until her retirement in 2016. Vicki took great pleasure in caring for the animals that would visit her Cedar Lake home. In her spare time, she was widely known to provide various arts and crafts to her family, friends and neighbors. Ceramic rocks bearing a family surname, and countless crocheted items and ornaments adorn many homes in the local area.
Robert W. Moynagh
Robert W. Moynagh, 74, of Annandale died Friday, Dec. 7, 2018, in hospice care at the St. Cloud VA Heath Care System Medical Center.
A Mass of Christian burial was held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 13, at St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Annandale with Fr. Andrew Stueve as the Celebrant. Entombment will take place at Assumption Cemetery in St. Cloud. Memorials are preferred to the Maple Lake American Legion Club 131.
Bob is survived by his wife, Janet; sons, Robert Moynagh, Jr. of Watertown and Jeffrey (Tirina) Moynagh of Winona; step sons, Michael (Lisa) Jacobson of Eden Prairie and Bob (Jayne) Jacobson of Coto de Caza, California; special daughter, Tracy (Wade) Gurneau of Montrose; grandchildren, Robert III "Kirby", Alex, Taylor, Rhyanna, Liam, Kiara, Anthony, Andrew and Peter Moynagh, Abigail and Molly Jacobson; stepgranddaughter, Maddy Kranz; great- grandchildren, Carter and Lillian Moynagh; twin sister, Ruthann Dickhausen of North Branch; brother, Bruce (Cece) Moynagh of Summerfield, Florida; sisters-in-law, Betty Moynagh, Peggy Rader and Ruth Burke; brother-in-law, Bob (Vonnie) Rader; many nieces and nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; stepmother, Catherine Moynagh, brother, Walt Moynagh, Jr.; brother-in-law, Don Rader; and sisters-in-law, Joan Rader Mundell and Bette Rader Malone.
Robert Walin Moynagh, Sr. was born in Minneapolis to Walter Moynagh, Sr. and Ruth (Walin) Moynagh on Jan. 14, 1944. He grew up in Minneapolis. Bob enjoyed the water and would spend his summers at their cabin on Lake Waverly. He graduated with the Class of 1962 from Minneapolis Central High School. He served his country with the U.S. Navy from 1964 to 1966 during the Vietnam War. He continued on in the Naval Reserve for an additional four years. He was a member of the Heat and Frost Insulators Local 34, working as a mechanical insulator for 42 years. Bob also owned a bowling alley in Dassel for four years. In 1988, Bob was united in marriage to Janet Rader Jacobson. They made Sugar Lake, near Annandale, their home and spent winters in Sun Village, Surprise, Arizona. Bob was a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church and the Maple Lake American Legion. He was a lifelong baseball fan; he played for his high school team and as well as playing and managing town baseball with the Waverly Stingers. In retirement, Bob loved to play golf and was a member at Whispering Pines Golf Course in Annandale and at Sun Village Golf Course in Surprise, Arizona.

Norman L. Ponsford
Norman Leroy Ponsford, 73, of Dassel passed away Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2018, at the St. Cloud Hospital.
A funeral was held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12, at First Baptist Church in Cokato. Cremation is through Cremation Society of Minnesota. Burial will take place at the Baptist Cemetery at a later date.
Norm is survived by his wife, Linda of Dassel; children, Jon of Olympia, Washington, and Sue of Minneapolis from his first marriage to Eloise Heagle; brothers, Tom (Bonnie) of Annandale and Jim of Cokato; grandchildren, Julian and Madison; mother-in-law, Nancy; father-in-law, Kale (JoAnn); brothers-in-law, David (Donette) and Jeff; nieces and nephews, Tom, John, Kim (Chey), Lindsey, Trista, Kenny and Seth.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wendell and Marian; and his sister-in-law, Rachel Danberg.
Norm was born in St. Cloud on May 13, 1945, to Wendell and Marian (Sparks) Ponsford. He grew up in Annandale and graduated from Annandale High School in 1963. He then joined the Air Force and was stationed in Lubbock, Texas. At the time of his death, Norm had been a Mason for 50 years and was a member of the Dassel American Legion. He was also a volunteer firefighter while he lived in Buffalo.
On Oct. 9, 1982, Norm and Linda (Danberg) were united in marriage at Golden Valley United Methodist Church in Golden Valley.
Norm managed the Ben Franklin Store in Buffalo after he came home from the service, and then in 1975 he owned the Ben Franklin Store in Cokato. After Norm and Linda were married, he managed Tom Thumb stores in the Minneapolis area and was then asked to manage the Hutchinson Tom Thumb store. After being there a few years he was asked to manage the new Erickson Freedom store that was being built in Hutchinson. A few years later, he decided to do something different and went to work for Hutchinson Technology where he was the Inventory Lead for over 10 years.
Norm was a people person and any opportunity to talk was the highlight of his day. Music was also a very important part of Norm’s life. His love of music began when he was a child singing solos in church and singing with the church choir that his mom directed. Norm and Linda met in a singing group. After the group disbanded, Norm and Linda continued to sing at various churches, weddings and other events. Norm loved to sit at the piano and sing with Linda for hours. He also loved listening to Linda play the piano. Norm enjoyed camping, fishing and being in the outdoors as much as possible.
