■ A potluck supper is at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4, at Minnesota Pioneer Park, 725 Pioneer Park Trail. The public is welcome.

■ The Wright County Historical Society’s 12th annual Festival of Trees display is open daily from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 29 through Friday, Jan. 4, 2019, and is open until 8 p.m. on Tuesdays. The display is free, and features dozens of trees, a Santa writing station, animated characters and an electric train display.

■ The Annandale Kiwanis Club will meet at noon Thursday, Dec. 6, in the lower level at Southbrook Golf Club, 511 Morrison Ave. S., Annandale. All are welcome.

■ Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day is Friday, Dec. 7.

■ The St. Ignatius CCW annual Christ Child Luncheon will be held at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Annandale, on Friday, Dec. 7, from 10:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. Handmade crafts and baked goods will be available at Santa’s Shoppe. Proceeds will go to Birthline, Cornerstone and MCCL. Tickets will be available at the door. See the ad on page 6B.

■ Main Street Holiday will be held Saturday, Dec. 8, in downtown Annandale. Fun for the whole family is planned for all afternoon. Shop your local businesses before and during the event. Events include a Santa fun run and, new this year a 5K, that starts and ends at Clock Tower Park. The runs start at 2 p.m. Live music and carolers will return, and Santa will be available for photos at various businesses around downtown from 2 to 6 p.m. Horse-drawn trolley rides are offered from 3 to 6 p.m., and the popular holiday lights parade will begin at 6 p.m. Many other events are planned as well. ■ The annual Kiwanis Share Your Christmas Pancake Breakfast will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Sunday, Dec. 9, at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, 35 Birch St. E., Annandale. Tickets are available at the door or from club members.

■ The Annandale High School choirs will perform a holiday concert at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 10 in the Performing Arts Center.

■ The Adoption Support Group will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11, at the Monticello Community Center, 505 Walnut St. All adoptive and prospective adoptive parents from Wright and Sherburne counties are welcome. Child care is available. For more information, call 763-241-2602 or 763-684-2318.

■ American Legion Post 131 will meet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11, at the Maple Lake Legion Club, 220 1st St. W. New members are welcome.

■ The Annandale Chamber of Commerce will meet at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12, at A-Town Roadhouse. All members are and prospective members are invited.

■ The Canadian Pacific Railway Holiday Train stops in Annandale at the Oak Avenue crossing Wednesday, Dec. 12, at about 7 p.m. Bring a food shelf item and enjoy live entertainment by Willy Porter and the Trews. Arrive early for the best views. See the story in this issue.

■ A concert by the sixth grade members of the Annandale Middle School band is at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 13, at the high school auditorium.

■ The Sons of Legion members group will meet at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 13, at the Maple Lake Legion Club, 220 1st St. W. New members are welcome.

■ True Friends – Camp Friendship’s Auxiliary is holding its annual Holiday Fundraising Party at 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14 at Camp Friendship’s Dining Hall, 10509 108th Street NW, Annandale. The evening features hot and cold hors d’oeuvres, a dessert buffet, and wine and beer sampling. It will also include a prize drawing, a silent auction and door prizes. Tickets area available at All Things Good in Annandale and from Del Waltzing, 320-558-6708. They are also available at the door.

■ The Annandale Lions are hosting its annual Breakfast with Santa event starting at 8:30 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 16, at Lampi Auction Center, near the intersection of Highway 55 and CSAH 6. Donations of eyeglasses and items for the Annandale Food Shelf will be accepted. In addition to the breakfast, candy canes will be provided for all. Children must have adult supervision.

■ The Annandale High School and Middle School jazz bands will present ‘Tunes and Treats,’ a jazz concert in the high school commons area at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 17.

■ A 60-Plus and Healthy Clinic will be held from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18, at Maple Lake Manor East. Foot care will be provided for seniors, and although there is a small fee, no one will be turned away. Also, other health checks and screenings will be provided if time allows. The service is provided by Wright County Public Health, 763-682-3667. There is no clinic this month in Annandale.

■ Lake Central Bank will present the ‘Rock ‘n Roll X-Mas Spectacular at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 19, at the Performing Arts Center at Annandale High School. See the ad on page 6B for more on this live musical, holiday production.

■ The Wellness on Wheels program will be at Annandale City Hall from 2 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, Thursday, Dec. 20. The Wright County Human Services van provides a number of health services and screenings at no or reduced costs, including immunizations. For more information or an appointment, call 1-800-362-3667, ext. 7717. The service will be at Monticello High School from 3 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 6. It will not be in Cokato this month.
