Saturday, July 13, starts off the first of two fundraisers sponsored by the Annandale Community Team’s Art’s Committee. The Petals and Palate Garden Tour is the summer fundraising event that helps pay for the Summer Concert Series in the Annandale City Park every second and fourth Friday of the month beginning in June and running through August.
Tour go-ers will see a myriad of gardens from city gardens to lake and country gardens scattered thru the Annandale area and surrounding communities. A light luncheon accompanies the tour and is included in the ticket price. This delectable meal is catered by the Cottage Gourmets, an Annandale business that caters many different types of events.
Bring your friends, your family and your imagination to this wonderful event to see all kinds of inspirational gardens. Tickets can be purchased at Miller’s Jewelry, All Things Good and In Hot Water. Check the Advocate or look for posters for participating locations.
