FRENCH LAKE IMPROVEMENT ASSOCIATION
NOTICE OF TREATMENT
The French Lake Improvement Association has contracted with PLM Lake and Land Management Corp to treat Eurasian Water Milfoil, an Aquatic Invasive Species, in French Lake in 2020.
The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources has granted to the French Lake Improvement Association a waiver of the requirement that the Improvement Association obtain the signatures of approval of owners of lakeshore property. Instead the French Lake Improvement Association will notify property owners of the treatment through alternate forms. This notice is one form that the French Lake Improvement Association is using to notify property owners. Other forms may include but are not limited to notification through the associations email list, website, annual newsletter and or meeting.
With regard to treatment for the year 2020.
1. The proposed date for treatment: June 1, 2020 through September 30, 2020.
2. The target species for the treatment: Eurasian Water Milfoil.
3. The method of control or product being used: EPA and MDA registered aquatic herbicides, such as but not limited to Liquid 2, 4-D, Granular 2, 4-D,Granular Triclopyr.
4. Landowners may request that control not occur adjacent to the landowner’s property, for the treatment of Eurasian Water Milfoil, by notifying the French Lake Improvement Association immediately at the following address and email address below:
