Labor Day weekend is a busy one for the Swappers Meet, and this year wasn’t any different. Gladys Miller said it’s been a good summer for the popular Saturday attraction northwest of Annandale. ‘It got off to a slow start this year, because of the earlier rains we experienced, but since the beginning of June it has been fantastic,’ she said. The meet will be open through October, and a motorsports swap meet is planned for the weekend of Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 22 and 23.
