When Pete Kormanik wakes up on the morning of May 1, he’ll be unemployed for the first time since 1966. That’s the day the sale of the Annandale McDonald’s will be complete. After 53 years in the Golden Arches family, Kormanik and wife Ros will officially be done throwing together Big Macs, Egg McMuffins and dropping those addicting French fries into the fryers.
