Imagine, for a moment, you have worked very hard at a job for 40 years, somewhere around, 10,500 days, give or take a few days off here and there. What is the first thing you might do when you retire from this job? Debbie Flygare of Annandale Health and Community Services has been pondering that question. She will retire after 40 years on Friday, Sept. 2. And what does retirement look like? “Nothing” says Debbie, “I am going to do nothing for at least a week. Decompress. Maybe read. But really nothing.”
