Some moments are years in the making.
Annandale High School seniors Myles Hayes, Camryn (Cami) Moon, Julia Segner, Kieley Jacobson and Makayla Scherer are at this moment as the elite crew of the Annandale Speech team that have advanced to the MSHSL State Speech Tournament. It has been a journey and commitment for each of them. Myles has been a member of the speech team for five years. Cami has been with the team for six years. Julia and Kieley have put in four years each. Makayla, a relative new comer, has put in two years. As this group sits and reflects on their journey to reach this point and the adventure of the State meet yet to come, they all agree on one very important point.
