Sally J. Franzen

Sally J. Franzen, 66, of Annandale died Friday, May 20, 2011, at the St. Cloud Hospital.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 25, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Annandale with Rev. Dave Nelson officiating. Interment will be at Assumption Cemetery, St. Cloud. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m.

She is survived by her husband Cliff of Annandale; daughters and their husbands, Melinda and Wayne Sanders of St. Cloud, Amy and Frank Raeth of Buffalo; grandsons, Zachary and Joshua Sanders, Nicholas and Tyler Raeth; brother, Allen Huber and his wife Darlene of New Hope; sister-in-law, Paddy Frazier of Reno, Nev.; and many special friends.

Sally Jane Franzen was born Oct. 29, 1944, at Middletown, Ohio, to her loving parents the late Dalton Allen and Hazel Mae (Beier) Huber. She was a 1962 graduate of Robbinsdale High School and 1965 graduate of the University of Minnesota/Swedish Hospital X-Ray Technician program. She married Cliff Franzen on Feb. 17, 1967 in Minneapolis and worked as an X-Ray Technician retiring in 2002 from the Coon Rapids Medical Center. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Altar Guild, Hands for Hope, and Southbrook Golf Club. She was an avid golfer, reader, knitter, and traveler. She enjoyed time spent with her family especially her grandsons.
