Sharon Kathleen Nyren, 67, of South Haven died Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2009, at the Hennepin County Medical Center, Minneapolis. Memorial services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, March 5, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Annandale, with Rev. Dave Nelson officiating. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery, Annandale. Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale. Sharon Kathleen Nyren was born April 23, 1941, to Thomas and Fern (VanVickle) McGee in Benson where she grew up and attended school. On Feb. 15, 1958 she was united in marriage to Dale Nyren. After which they lived shortly in Benson and ever since have lived in the Annandale area. Sharon enjoyed visiting for hours on end with her family and friends. She loved having her pets around her just like they were one of the kids. She is survived by her husband, Dale; sons, Jeff and wife Candy of South Haven, Scott and wife Lori of Annandale, Wade of Rice; grandchildren, Ashley, Tasha, Parker, Hunter and Nicholas; great-grandson, Brennan; brother, Thomas "Tommy" McGee Jr of Huntley, Ill.; sisters, Rita (Wayne) Wersinger of Danvers, Mary (Mike) Wente of Porter, Juanita Saterbak of Danvers; also numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter Roberta ‘Robin’ Nyren, parents, and sister Becky Mohrman. Urnbearer: Jason Wersinger. Music: Orma Lou Jacobsma, organist and Darrel Olson, soloist.
