Robert R. “Bob” Benson

Robert R. “Bob” Benson, 80, formerly of St. Louis Park, passed away with his wife by his side on Monday, Feb. 16, 2004, at his “paradise on earth,” Lake Sylvia, Annandale.  A funeral service was held Friday, Feb. 20, at Westwood Lutheran Church, St. Louis Park. Memorials preferred in lieu of flowers.  Survived by his loving bride of 55 years, Leonore; children, Linda, Dale (Mary), Sandy (Dale) Perkins, Daryl (Pat Nimmerfroh), and Patti (Rob) Juntunen; grandchildren, Sara (Jedd), Perry (Shawna), Christina, and Cole; great-grandchildren, Brennan, Chloe, and Cheyanne; twin brother, William (MaryAnn); nieces, cousins and friends.  Preceded in death by parents, Fritz W. and Alice E.; and nephew, Fritz W. “Butch” Benson.  Bob’s passions included fishing, gardening and watching the news, but it was his family that meant everything to him.
