Mr. Lloyd H. Flanum, 66, of Annandale formerly Maple Lake died Friday, August 1, 2003 at Buffalo Hospital. Funeral services were held Saturday, August 9, at the Annandale Evangelical Free Church with Rev. Gary Partridge officiating. Burial followed at Woodlawn Cemetery, Annandale. Lloyd is survived by his wife, Lucille of Annandale, daughter, Victoria (Daniel) Ritchie of Oakdale, sons, Leslie and fiancé, Karen Evers of Annandale, Lee and fiancé, Melenda Hageman of Annandale, sisters, Jean Kaluza of St. Paul, Lorraine (Gene) O’Neil of St. Paul, Phyllis Wiseman of Phoenix, Ariz., brothers, Arvid (Mona) of New Richmond, Wisc., Duane of St. Paul, and four grandchildren. His parents preceded him in death. Lloyd Howard Flanum was born May 6, 1937 in Deer Park, Wisc. to Lloyd and Doris (Legrid) Flanum. He was a 1957 graduate of Amery High School, Amery Wisc. and also served in the Army National Guard of Wisconsin. He married Lucille E. George April 8, 1967 in South Dakota. Lloyd was a machinist for Van Dale of Long Lake, retiring in 1991. Lloyd lived in Maple Lake 34 years before becoming a resident of the Annandale Care Center 21/2 years ago. Lloyd loved the Green Bay Packers, fishing, and rebuilding old musket kits. Pallbearers: Lee, Les, Mark, and Julie Flanum, Tom Vizner and Robert Ahonen.
