Audrey ‘Dolly’ R. Wood, 69, died Saturday, July 12, 2003 at her South Haven residence. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Thursday, July 17, at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale, with Pastor Tony Jasper officiating. Burial will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis.. Gathering of friends and family will be one hour prior to services on Thursday. She is survived by her husband, Sidney Wood, Sr. of South Haven, daughter, Kathy Olson and her fiancé, Mike Donabauer of Kimball, three step-sons, Sidney Wood, Jr. and his wife, Gerilyn of Galesburg, Ill., Thomas Wood and his wife, Janet of St. Cloud, Phillip Wood and his wife, Debbie of Annandale, brothers, Eugene Bowman of Brooklyn Center, Kenneth and his special friend, Cybil of Knoxville, Tenn., Marlene Kerkow and her husband, Rodney of Bloomington, three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, eight step-grandchildren, six step-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Brother, Buster Bowman and sister-in-law, Cecelia Bowman preceded her in death. Audrey was born February 6, 1934 to Ralph and Frances (Sobczak) Bowman in Minneapolis, MN. She married Sidney W. Wood, Sr. June 18, 1955 in Iowa; they have lived the last 33 years at South Haven. She was employed at Palm Industries, Litchfield from 1978 to 1991 and Miller Manufacturing, Dassel, from 1991 to 1994. She was a former member of Oliver Presbyterian Church in Minneapolis. Audrey enjoyed bowling, making crafts, hunting, fishing and gardening.
