Aaron L. Wolfsteller, 48

Aaron Lester Wolfsteller, 48, of Reno, Nevada, passed away on Aug. 13, 2017.

A funeral service was held at 9 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 19, at Mountain View Mortuary, Reno. Tom Bacon officiated. Burial followed the funeral at Mother of Sorrows Cemetery, Reno.

Aaron is survived by his children, Haylee and Jaydin Wolfsteller and Brennen Scott; parents, Lester and Barbara Wolfsteller; brothers, Kevin and Patricia McRae from Spokane, Washington and Charles and Linda Wolfsteller from Spring Creek, Nevada; sisters, Heidi McRae of Ben Lomond, California, and Linda Sierra from Albuquerque, New Mexico; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Darrell McRae; and grandparents.

Aaron was born in Salinas, California, on Feb. 21, 1969. He attended schools in Shingletown, California, Monterey, California, and Winnemucca, Nevada. He graduated from Annandale High School and continued his education at both University of Minnesota and University of Nevada Reno.

Aaron worked as a construction foreman for Peabody Inc. for 15 years. He enjoyed sports, and waterskiing, jetskiing, fishing, with his family and friends at local lakes in Reno.
