Bryan R. Harju, 55, of South Haven died Monday, Feb. 17, 2020, at the St. Cloud Hospital.
A funeral services was held at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 21, 2020, at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel in Annandale with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial followed at Cokato Finnish Cemetery.
Bryan Rudolph Harju was born March 17, 1964, in Cokato to William and Margaret (Peterson) Harju. He graduated from Cokato High School with the Class of 1982 and continued his education at Hutchinson Area Vocational for Automotive Mechanics. Bryan was able to work as an auto mechanic for many years prior to working at Design and Fabrication in Cokato. He had a passion for all vehicles as long as they were loud, fast and wore a bow tie. His ability as a master of the Weber Grill was a key to bringing family and friends together.
Bryan is survived by his children, Anthony of South Haven, Elizabeth of St. Cloud and Bryanna of Andover; brothers, Art (Val) of New Castle, Colorado and Carl (Trisha) of Cokato; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews; and his dog, Thumper.
The casket bearers were Anthony, Elizabeth, Bryanna, Art and Carl Harju and Robin Hillmyer. Art Harju officiated the service.
Arrangements are entrusted with Dingmann Funeral Care Burial and Cremation Services of Annandale.
