Robert ‘Web’ Weber

Robert P. "Web" Weber, 69, of Annandale died Monday, May 22, 2017, at the St. Cloud Hospital.

A memorial service was held at Sunday, May 28, at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale. Burial will be in Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis.

Web is survived by his daughter, Brita Marie Weber of Washington; sisters, Jeanne (Greg) Leifermann of Motley and Cathy (Fran) McCann of Granger, Indiana; grandchildren, Kirsten and Edwin; nieces; as well as great- nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister, Margaret Elizabeth Weber.

Robert Paul "Web" Weber was born July 12, 1947, in Minneapolis to Paul W. and Mary L. (Ivory) Weber. He graduated from Minnetonka High School, with the class of 1965. After high school, Web enlisted in the Army and proudly served his country during the Vietnam War where he earned a Purple Heart. Web held various jobs, but primarily was a musician entertaining folks wherever he could. Web lived in Annandale the past 30 years. His favorite pastime was making music with his friends with guitar in hand. Web loved the outdoors, caring for farm animals, hunting and fishing with his father, music, storytelling, campfires and bad jokes.
