Donald C. Holm, age 75, of South Haven, formerly of Minneapolis, died Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at the Therapy Suites in Sartell. A Celebration of Life will be held for Don in the spring of 2022. The date and location will be published at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted with Dingmann Funeral Care Burial & Cremation Services of Annandale. Memorials are preferred to Pioneer Park in Annandale. Donald Cyril Holm was born April 19, 1946 to Cyril and Helia (LaiTala) Holm in Minneapolis. He grew up in Minneapolis, graduating from Patrick Henry High School with the Class of 1964. Don honorably served his country in the US Army. Following his discharge from the Army, Don attended Dunwoody in Minneapolis for Auto Body Repair. He owned and operated Auto Body Professionals in East Bethel for many years. On September 17, 1994, Don was united in marriage to Sharon Watkins at Minnehaha Falls Park in St. Paul. They lived in Minneapolis, prior to moving to Don’s cabin on Lake Sylvia, near South Haven, in 2009. Don was a former board member of the Lake Sylvia Lake Association and a current board member and volunteer at Pioneer Park in Annandale. He enjoyed woodworking and fishing. Don is survived by his wife, Sharon; step-daughter, Denise (Dan) Wagenknecht of Ramsey; 3 grandchildren, Ashley (Ben) Mohrman, Melissa (Bobby) Bolles and Kayla (Dustin) Braun; and 5 great-grandchildren, Grant, Everett, Lillyann, Ella and Liam.
