Ida M. Hanson, age 91, of Annandale, died Nov. 20, 2022, at the Annandale Care Center. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 23 at Heartland Evangelical Free Church, Annandale with Pastor Denny Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in French Lake Township. Visitation will be held one hour prior at the church. Ida Marie Raisanen was born on Sept. 22, 1931, to Ivar and Ida (Annala) Raisanen in Annandale, Minnesota. On Jan. 27, 1951, she married Edward Hanson. Together they raised their family in Minneapolis until 1984 when they returned to Annandale. Ida was a devoted homemaker for her family. She acquired a green thumb from her mother which she continued with her family. Her garden flourished with hydrangeas, dahlias, and many other flowers. Ida enjoyed spending time and traveling with her family especially to Vegas. Ida is survived by her children, Charlene (John) Cannon of Grafton, Wisconsin, Byron Hanson of Minnetonka, Minnesota, Bruce (Terry) Hanson, Robin Hanson, Lynn Hanson, all of Annandale, Minnesota, and Kimberly (Gary) Larson of Chanhassen, Minnesota; grandchildren, Amanda (Kyle) Cannon Patch, Adam (Kristen) Cannon, Blake Hanson, Emily Hanson, and Isabelle Hanson; great-grandchildren, Mason, Leo , Lillian, June, and Faye; and many other family members. She is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Hanson; parents Ivar and Ida Raisanen, and nine siblings. Arrangements are entrusted with Dingmann Funeral Care Burial and Cremation Services.
