We invite attendees to wear a blue accent. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Donna Mae Kuiper’s name to Aurora at Home-Hospice, 116 North Dodge Street, Suite 6, Burlington, WI, 53105. The world became brighter on Oct. 6, 1927, the day Donna was born. She was the daughter of the late Hub and Clara Schuller. Donna was a pioneer in attending the University of Minnesota, majoring in business at a time when that was not the usual career path for women. After getting married to her husband Peter Kuiper, they opened Kuiper’s Our Own Hardware in Golden Valley. After Peter’s death, she continued in various business ventures. Donna moved to Annandale in 1979 where she enjoyed viewing Clearwater Lake from her Bonniview lake home. Donna was a passionate Vikings and Twins fan. She enjoyed bowling, golfing, boating and even snowmobiling. One of Donna’s greatest joys in life was being surrounded by family, friends and much laughter. Donna was predeceased by her husband Peter Kuiper, brother Leroy and sister Kathleen, and is survived by her daughter Mary Mosby (husband James), their daughters Morgan and Madison, son Steven Kuiper (wife Jodie) and their sons Jack and Collin. Donna was deeply loved and will be missed terribly, (especially her quick wit). To post an online condolence please visit www.derrickfuneralhome.com. Derrick Funeral Home of Lake Geneva is honored to be assisting Donna’s family.
