Hanford “John” Gordon, age 81, of Maple Lake, died Friday, Dec. 29, 2023, at his home in Corinna Township.
A private gathering to celebrate Hanford will be held at a later date.
Hanford Robert Gordon was born in St. Cloud to Robert and Irene (Klemz) Gordon. He grew up and lived his entire life in the Annandale area. John served his country in the Vietnam War. Over the years, Hanford worked primarily in construction. He was a thrill seeker that loved muscle cars, motorcycles, and anything fast.
He is survived by his daughters, Lisa Welker of St. Cloud and Alena Conlin of Monticello; grandchildren, Heather Welker (Jai McGhee, Sr.), Michael Welker, Jr. (Ashley Payne), Sodapop Peterson, Liam Remley, Danita (Shane) Robasse, and Samantha (Dillon) Nelson; brother, Dennis Gordon; sisters, Judy Bryan and Faith (Terry) Christensen; sister-in-law, Betty Gordon; and many other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Irene Gordon; daughter, Debbie Searcy; granddaughter, Miranda Biedler; and brother, Larry Gordon.
Arrangements are entrusted with Dingmann Funeral Care Burial and Services of Annandale.
