Nancy Elaine Carlson, age 66, of South Haven, Minn., passed away unexpectedly on May 1, 2025 at her home.
Nancy graduated from Maple Lake High School in 1977. She was born Nancy Elaine Wurm, daughter of Marvin and Alice (Erickson) Wurm. She married Ricky Carlson on September 23, 1978. Together they raised three children in the South Haven area. One of Nancy’s greatest loves was her only grandchild Jayden Carlson. She enjoyed motorcycling and deer hunting in earlier years.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, parents- in-law, sister Chris Steinhoff and her daughter Jessica Carlson.
She is survived by her husband Rick, son Joshua (Denise), daughter Joanna (Louie Schaefer), grandson Jayden, twin sister Pam (Dave) Eastman, brother Mike (Cheryl) Wurm, brother-in-law Paul Steinhoff and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, June 7, from 2 to 6 p.m. at the South Haven Town Hall.
