Phyllis Ann Nutter Todd Douglas Nutter Tadd Douglas Nutter

Remembering a mother and her two sons, a memorial service celebrating the life of Phyllis Ann Nutter and her two sons, Todd Douglas Nutter and Tadd Douglas Nutter, will be held on Sunday, May 17, 2026 at 4 p.m. with a meal to follow. It will be held at Hope Central Christian Church Kimball Campus at 241 Hwy 55 Kimball, Minn. The service will be held upstairs in the main church and the meal will be served downstairs in the fellowship hall. All are welcome to come and remember them with us.

Phyllis was born on May 24, 1941, at home in Belle Prairie Township to Leora Ellen Forcier Rasinski and Casimer Rasinski. She had seven siblings. She married Douglas Nutter and they had her three children together, Todd, Tadd and DeeAnn. They later divorced but remained friends. Doug blessed them with a sister, Laura.

Phyllis had a long-term relationship with her friend Walt, who she cared for dearly. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and was happy to become a great grandmother. She was a sister, aunt, cousin and friend to many.

Phyllis worked as a nurse’s aide, and LPN and later an RN. She worked with the elderly and later with Veterans at the VA Hospital in St.Cloud. She enjoyed reading, cooking, walking, canoeing, ballroom dancing, and skiing both downhill and cross country. She enjoyed growing beautiful flowers. She liked bingo and most activities at Hilltop Healthcare Center until she was too ill to participate.

She passed away on February 22, 2026, at age 84. She had often enjoyed encouraging the staff to continue their education. She believed in supporting medical professionals learning and donated her body to the University of Minnesota bequest program for a research project. She will be buried near her two much loved sons in Kimball Cemetery. She will be remembered for being a great lady who gave us her classic advice. “Do the best you can do and that is all you can do.” She was unforgettable.

Todd Nutter, 63, enjoyed his family and people. He was a kind person who looked out for his family and friends. He provided holiday meals for free at the bar and grill he was part owner of so no one had to be alone for the holidays. He loved his family, driving his Harley, movies and music concerts with his family, fishing and hunting, gardening, and cooking. He always had a dog and they adored him. He is missed.

Tadd Nutter, 62, was a gentle person with a great sense of humor. He loved his family, friends and being a grandpa. He served his country as a veteran in the Army. He was a hard worker and an excellent carpenter who helped people with his gifting. He enjoyed his classic car and truck, music, rock and coin collecting,  fishing and hunting. He enjoyed dogs and cats. He is missed.
