Kristine was born Nov. 20, 1955, in Minneapolis to J. Lynne Wilson and Alice Pearson. She was baptized and confirmed, and married to Mitchell Wilson at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Annandale.
She had a lifetime appreciation and involvement in art. Many benefitted from her gifts as a talented artist. In addition to art, Kris’ two passions which drove her life were gardening and reading. She was an accomplished gardener who firmly believed in amending the soil to leave it in better shape than when she found it. At the age of four she discovered the joy and power of the printed word, which resulted in life-long learning. Kris was a very caring and copassionate person and as she said, "I am myself, not my disease!"
Having dealt with epilepsy for 40 years, her body was donated to North American SUDEP Registry which seeks to help identify risk factors and mechanism leading to sudden unexpected death in people with epilepsy. Memorials may be made to SUDEP.
