Ann Marie Thoren, 88, of Annandale, formerly of South Minneapolis, died Thursday, July 10, 2014, at the Annandale Care Center.
Funeral Services were held Monday, July 14.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, James and Harold Moir; and sisters, Katherine Schoengge, Clara Cowdrey and Evelyn Mackie.
Ann Marie Thoren was born Dec. 31, 1925, in Minneapolis to James and Minnie (Peters) Moir. She graduated from Minneapolis South High School with the Class of 1944.
On May 19, 1956, she was united in marriage to Lennart Thoren in Minneapolis; he preceded her in death on Feb. 12, 1981. Ann was a member of The Episcopal Church of St. James on the Parkway in Minneapolis and of the Southside Singers.
