The Cardinal tennis team will have a busy schedule this week after rain washed out two meets last week. The squad was scheduled to travel to Cambridge-Isanti on Monday, Sept. 13, and Glencoe-Silver Lake on Tuesday, Sept. 14. They’ll make up last week’s Delano rainout at home Wednesday, Sept. 15, then travel to Hutchinson on Thursday, Sept. 16, and host Litchfield in another makeup on Friday, Sept. 17. All meets begin at 4:15 p.m. except Wednesday’s match, which will start at 3. According to coach Scott Orvik, this is the most important week of the regular season with four of the five meets being Wright County Conference duals, and the G-SL and Litchfield competitions affecting seeding come playoff time.
