The Annandale Cardinals trap team capped not only its season but also the entire spring sports season. By virtue of the team’s performance at the Minnesota Trap Shooting Championship, held June 9-17 at the Alexandria Shooting Park, the Cardinals earned one of 40 qualifying team spots to the Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) Clay Target State Tournament from the Minneapolis Gun Club in Prior Lake on June 20.
Coming into its postseason action, the team finished second in Class 3A Conference Five.
