The Cardinal softball team continued competing in the Section 5-2A tournament last week. After defeating Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted 10-0, Monday, May 22, in the first round of the playoffs, the Cards hosted Glencoe-Silver Lake at the Annandale Recreation Park. The Panthers defeated the Cardinals 4-2.
